About Us

Welcome to the Cooling Dance Center,

serving the Vinton area for over 22 years. At Cooling Dance Center, we welcome the youngest tots through the most experienced dancers.

Our unique curriculum of combination classes for all age groups exposes children to a well-rounded dance education that will open many doors for a child’s future. You will only have to come once weekly to learn tap, ballet, and jazz dance. We also offer tumbling, poms, and pointe ballet to students with those interests.

We take great pride in our annual winter holiday and spring productions, featuring modest and age-appropriate costuming and music at our beautiful Vinton-Shellsburg Auditorium.

With the philosophy that every child deserves opportunities to succeed, we make additional performance and competition experiences available to any interested child, as these opportunities arise.

We also offer a six-week summer program, which varies each summer with dance and tumbling styles.
